Dr. Kathryn Young completed her undergraduate education at the University of Michigan, and received her medical degree from Wayne State University. She completed her residency at Henry Ford Health System, where she had the opportunity to see many high risk pregnancy patients. Dr. Young specialized in minimally invasive gynecological surgeries and is a certified da Vinci robotic surgeon. Dr. Young is board certified by the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology. She joined Oaklawn's active medical staff in 2008.
