Dr. Sidney Heisler earned a medical degree from the University of Nebraska and completed a residency at Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri.
Dr. Heisler has worked in a number of inpatient and outpatient psychiatric settings. He is a board certified psychiatrist, and holds two board certifications in psychiatric sub-specialty areas: psychosomatic medicine and additions. Former sub-specialty board certifications include: forensic psychiatry, and geriatrics. Dr. Heisler values being able to treat patients in a progressive, hands-on manner in collaboration with other clinical team members. He joined Oaklawn's active medical staff in 2006.
