Dr. Hood earned his bachelor's and medical degrees from Michigan State University. He completed residencies at Wilford Law Medical Center at the Lackland (Texas) Air Force Base and at Dent Neurological Institute in Buffalo, New York. He is certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. Dr. Hood joined Oaklawn's active staff in 2005.
