Dr. Hathaway completed his undergraduate education at Kalamazoo College and earned his medical doctorate from Michigan State University. He completed his internship at Naval Hospital in Portsmouth, Virginia, his fellowship at Naval Undersea Medical Institute in Groton, Conn. and an opthalmology residency at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit. Dr. Hathaway is board certified. He joined Oaklawn's active staff in June 2002.
