Dr. Farid Zayed earned his Medical degree from Kuwait University Medical School. He interned at Metropolitan Hospital Center in New York City, then moved to Michigan where he did an Internal Medicine residency at St. Joseph Mercy in Pontiac. Dr. Zayed has completed fellowships in both Echocardiography and Cardiology from Louisiana State University's School of Medicine. Dr. Zayed is Board Certified in Cardiovascular Diseases. Dr. Zayed is the Cardiac Director of our Cardiac & Pulmonary Rehabilitation Center. Dr. Zayed joined the Oaklawn medical staff in November 2011.
