Giving Opportunities Oaklawn Hospital has a rich history of philanthropic support dating back to some very visionary volunteers in 1911 who started planning for the future opening of the Ella E.M. Brown Charitable Circle - later known as Oaklawn Hospital. The hospital would not have been possible without these farsighted individuals and their financial gifts. Since those early days, the wonderfully generous support of residents and businesses in the communities we serve has helped Oaklawn achieve the recognition for excellence in patient care that we have. Today - just as years ago - the need for philanthropy has not diminished but, in fact, has become of even greater importance. Oaklawn is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit hospital so all contributions are tax deductible, and gifts may come in the form of cash, insurance, stocks, bequests or property. To our donors we pledge and promise prudent stewardship of all donations as we continue to provide exceptional health care. If you wish specific information, please contact Barbara Cooke, Director of Development, at (269) 789-3942. Or if you prefer, the opportunity for an online contribution or pledge payment is available or you may mail a contribution to the Development Office at 200 N. Madison, Marshall, MI 49068. We're so very grateful to all of our current donors and to all of those in our long history who have helped make Oaklawn Hospital the vital and crucial health care institution it is in Marshall and Calhoun County. With your continued tax-deductible investments, we'll remain a strong, progressive, state-of-the-art community hospital known for its excellent care, as well as being a solid economic asset in Calhoun County. We provide excellent clinical care delivered with compassion, dignity and respect. This approach to healing continues to make the Oaklawn experience exceptional for all who may need it, regardless of their ability to pay.
