POSITION REQUIREMENTS:  Psych Tech must have completed two (2) years of college education in an area related to field of employment.  Preferably possesses a B.A. or B.S. in mental health field i.e. psychology, social work, criminal justice, health sciences, sociology, etc. Biannual CPR (BLS) certification is required. One-year experience working with medical or behavioral population. CPI training required.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:  Assist in nursing functions, group and 1:1 interaction with psychiatric patients. Chart on patients assigned for each shift and intakes according to level of education. 

SPECIAL INFORMATION: Must possess good interpersonal skills to deal with a diverse group of patients, doctors, and staff.  Must be self directed and able to perform multiple projects and prioritize simultaneously. Ideal candidate can lift and carry 50 pounds.  Shift - Pool/Casual, Non-Exempt, Weekends/Holidays - Rotating
