Assistant (Office Billing Clerk)

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:  Two years previous insurance billing experience. Must have knowledge of current billing and patient collections methods/requirements. CPC a plus.  Previous experience in a healthcare setting preferred.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:  Primary responsibility include charge entry, posting payments, follow-up on insurance and patient balances, work denials for all insurance companies, send appeals if necessary, responsible for A/R. 

SPECIAL INFORMATION:  Computer knowledge and skills required. Ability to work in a team setting.  Excellent phone skills

Status - First, 80 hrs pp, Non-exempt, Wekends - No
