Education: Chris is an Australian trained Physical therapist. He graduated 20 years ago and has just begun working to achieve his post professional Doctorate of Physical Therapy.Work Experience: He has worked in a wide variety of settings, though mostly in outpatient clinic. He especially enjoys working with people with shoulder problems, both surgical and non-surgical. Chis has extensive work experience with patient's with work related injuries, including rehabilitation as well as functional testing for return to work.Interests: Chris lives in Charlotte with his wife and 3 children. They occupy most of his free time, but he also enjoys golf, and controlling the sound board for his church.
Education: Graduated from Central Michigan University in 1997 with a Bachelor of Science in Health Fintess in Rehabilitative Settings and in 2000 with a Masters in Physical Therapy. She went through an intensive course to become a certified lymphedema therapist in 2011. Completed extensive work in continuing education over the last 13 years to further develop clinical skills. She is currently working on her Doctor of Health Science at University of St. Augustine.
Work Experience: Cheries has been a physical therapist since 2000. She has worked with a wide range of diagnoses from orthopedics and pediatrics to oncology and lymphedema. She is active in development of Oaklawn Hospital's pediatric/lymphedema/oncology programs. She has presented several educational seminars in the community.Interests/hobbies: horseback riding, hanging out with friends, church activities.
Education: Sarah graduated from Andrews University in 2012 with a Doctorate of Physical Therapy.Work Experience: Sarah has worked in a wide variety of internship experiences including sub-acute rehabilitation and outpatient orthopedics.Interests: She would like to pursue continuing education in pediatric physical therapy. She enjoys jogging, cycling, traveling and spending time with her husband and family.

Work Experience: Chuck has worked over 20 years providing sports medicine and orthopedic care, with the last 16 years at the Oaklawn Physical Rehabilitation Center in Marshall. He has served as the Athletic Trainer at Marshall High School (14 years) as well as Wayland High School and Plainwell High School Chuck has provided sports medicine services to numerous national, regional state championships and tournament events. Chuck is also active lecturing and presenting on a variey of topics and has served as adjunct faculty at Albion College, Olivet College and Kellogg Community College.
Interests: Reading, cooking, athletics, and spending time with his wife and twin children.
Education: Carla graduated from Northern Illinois University with a Bachelors degree in physical therapy in 1996.Work Experience: Carla worked in Watervliet, MI doing out-patient orthopedics for 8 years before working in Marshall as a clinic director for 7 years. She joined Oaklawn in 2012. Areas of specialty: For 7 years she has been specializing in pelvic floor health and treats bowel and bladder dysfunctions, pre and post natal musculoskeletal problems, pelvic girdle pain, and positional dysfunctions such as prolapse.Interests: Carla is married and has one son. Her personal life revolves around her family and friends.
Education: Leslie was raised in Marshall and graduated from Kellogg Community College as a physical therapy assistant in 2008. She recieved her Bachelor's degree in Applied Acience in Physical Therapist Assisting with a minor in Healthcare Management from Siena Heights University in 2013. She is now prusuing a doctorate degree as a physical therapist.Work experience: Leslie worked in the home helath setting before coming to Oaklawn Hospital in 2008. She has been the instructor of the Movin' Mommies exercise class for postpartum women at the OLIC since 2012.
Specialty areas: Leslie specializes in pelvic health and aquatic physical therapy. She is working toward a certification as a pelvic health practioner through the Herman and Wallace Pelvic Rehabilitation Institute. She has a strong passion for treatment of those with chronic and severe pain conditions involving the spinal and pelvic regions. Interests: Leslie has been married since 2007. She and her husband have pot bellied pigs for pets who live in their home and are loved like children. She is also a very active memeber of her church and volunteers as a board member for the National Pig Placement Network to help find homes for other pet pigs.
Education: Lisa received her Bachelors of Science from Central Michigan University in Sports Medicine, Master of Science from Michigan State University in Athletic Training and Administration, and Associates of Applied Science degree from Kellogg Community College.Work Experience: Lisa has been working in the field of Physical Therapy and Athletic Training for 20 years. Prior to coming to Oaklawn's Physical Rehabilitation Department in 2003, Lisa worked for Pennfield High School, Great Lakes Sports Medicine Center, Wyandotte High School and Advanced Physical Therapy. She has been actively involved as an instructor with Oaklawn's Joint Camp class and Joint Pain seminars. She is proud to co-chair the Healthy You Committee which provides education opportunities for different populations of all age groups. Interests and hobbies: Lisa likes to spend time with her family and friends, read, do photography and plan interesting and fun events. Specialty areas of patient care: Lisa enjoys working with many patient populations especially athletics, dance, aquatics and elementary school kids.
Education: Cindy has an Associates Degree in Applied Science as a Physical Therapist Assistant from Kellogg Community College.Work Experience: Cindy has worked as a Physical Therapist Assistant for 6 years. Prior to coming to Oaklawn, Cindy worked for Gary Gray Physical Therapy.Interests and Hobbies: Spending time with her husband and family as well as enjoying time with her 2 dogs.
Work experience: Kalie has worked for Oaklawn in Marshall for 21 years. She was named employee of the year in 2002. She loves her job as an Office Manager in Marshall because it gives her the opportunity to meet new people daily and work along side a great group of clinicians with a variety of personalities.Interests: She enjoys spending time with her daughters Liberty and Addison.

Education: Kathleen graduated from the University of Michigan with a DPT in 2005. Prior to becoming a PT she was an athletic trainer since 2000. She graduated from Grand Valley University in 1997 with a Bachelor's in health science and emphasis in exericse science. Work experience: She has worked for 6 years at the University of Michigan sports medicine program and has been with Oaklawn since 2006 and is now the clinic manager in Albion.Specialty areas: manual physical therapy, sports medicine, and pediatrics.Interests: Kathleen has 2 young children that keep her very busy.
Education: Vivek graduated from Quinnipiac University in 2006 with a Masters in Physical TherapyWork Experience: Vivek worked in out patient physical therapy clinics in the Detroit area until coming to Oaklawn in 2012. He has a strong background in orthopedics and manual therapy and is a board certified orthopedic specialist and is also certified in the McKenzie method.Interests: travelling, playing volleyball, and ping pong.
Education: Tracy received a Bachelors in both Biology and Health Science from the University of Michigan. In 1999, she earned a Master's in Physical Therapy from the University of Michigan-Flint.
Work Experience: Tracy worked in private practice out-patient facilities in Plymouth, MI and Battle Creek, MI for 12 years prior to joining Oaklawn Hospital in 2011.
Specialty areas: Orthopedic Specialist Certification since 2002. Tracy has worked with a wide variety of patients with general orthopedic conditions. She is certified in lymphedema treatment and is involved in our oncology care program. She has also taken classes focusing on womens health issues.

Work History: Carol has been an occupational therapist for 30 years. She has worked for several healthcare facilities providing therapy in out-patient pediatrics, home care and in-patient rehabilitation. Her first love is working with the pediatric population.Specialty Areas: Carol specializes in Pediatric Occupational Therapy and is SIPT certified (Sensory Integration and Praxis Testing)Areas of Interest: Spending time with her family, getting physical exercise and sewing.
Education: Jen was raised in Marshall and Graduated from Marshall High School in 2004. She graduated from Western Michigan University in 2012 with a Master’s of Science for Occupational Therapy.
